Building on the excitement of the Paris Olympic Games, where both Australia and the Netherlands teams achieved remarkable success, ABIE is thrilled to invite you—whether you’re a member or not—to our upcoming Sport and Health Event. This event isn’t just about physical activity; it’s about embracing a holistic approach to well-being, including mental health.

At the heart of this experience is the Athletic Skills Model (ASM), a revolutionary movement-centred development model from the Netherlands. Designed to enhance physical and mental health for people of all ages and fitness levels, ASM has inspired the layout of Almere Haven’s public park, known as the Skills Garden—our event’s stunning venue.

Led by Chris Smith, our esteemed member and an accredited ASM instructor, you’ll dive into the 10 core principles of ASM through engaging, interactive activities. It’s a chance to boost your fitness, uplift your spirits, and forge deeper connections with fellow ABIE members.

Afterwards, relax and unwind at the nearby SportCafé DIJJK with a refreshing ‘borrel.’ Whether you’re an active participant or simply there to cheer on your peers, enjoy a cold drink, delicious snacks, and plenty of networking opportunities.
